Great Soccer Parents Make ALL the Difference!
Parents play a critical role in the successful development of life-long soccer players and we must be deliberate in how we best support our players. The environment we create at home, how we behave on the sidelines, how we communicate to our kids before and after games, and how we generally support their love of the game has a dramatic effect on their development and ability to reach their full potential. MSC is committed to helping your child feel inspired and helping you, the parent, provide the best environment and support for your aspiring soccer player.
We Think… “if you are a soccer parent who is properly engaged, you will:
- Acknowledge the important role you play in your child’s soccer experience
- Pledge to learn best practices for sports parenting and player development
- Strive to have collaborative relationships with coaches and club leaders
- Work to establish a Sense of Community on the team and club
- Reference the Soccer Parent Value Statements in your decisions
- Do your part to Make Youth Soccer Better”
